EVSC TEACHER LOCKER

Our community service focus since the 2021-2022 year is the EVSC Teacher Locker, which provides supplies for teachers. Our support includes supply donations and volunteering. We are continuing this project through the 2024-2025 year and beyond. 
Darlene & Angie volunteered on the first shopping day for teachers for the 2022-2023 school year.
Simone volunteered to help stuff 150 bags for new EVSC teachers to give away at orientation. 
Mei, Lorie, and Simone (& Junior Member, Layla) volunteer regularly to organize supplies.

Teacher Locker was a busy place with before school “shopping” to start the 24-25 school year, Darlene was there to represent Beta Alpha. She was happy to see all of her old and new friends get ready for August 5, first day for EVSC, with some of the Beta Alpha donations.

SUPPORT EARLY EDUCATORS

Each year, DKG Beta Alpha chooses one local school to support early educators. The focus is on educators within the first five years of their career. At the schools that are typically chosen, turnover is high. Our goal is to help educators stay in the profession longer.

TURKEYS FOR HOSA

Every year, our organization donates turkeys for the Thanksgiving baskets created by the HOSA students of one of our chapter members at an area high school.

YWCA / LIVE WIRES

Our community service focus for the 2020-2021 year was the YWCA and its Live Wires program. 

SCHOOLS FOR AFRICA

Since 2010, DKG members worldwide have been donating to this international project.
​We collect each year to help do our part.
